Man arrested in Macon after missing person found dead in Jonesboro, sheriff's office says

They say the missing person's vehicle was found near train tracks on Broadway in Macon.

MACON, Ga. — A man has been arrested after a missing person was found dead in Jonesboro, according to a release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office

The sheriff's office believes Viet Vo was killed in Macon, at the intersection of Vineville Avenue and Stonewall Place.

They say they took 25-year-old Jamarion Neville into custody on Friday, in connection to Vo's death.

The sheriff's office says they received a call Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. about a missing person.

A day later, Vo's vehicle was found near the train tracks on Broadway, per a release. They say the vehicle was unoccupied when deputies arrived.

The release says that same day, Jonesboro police told them they found the missing person's body at a gas station. The missing person has been identified as Viet Vo.

The sheriff's office has not announced any charges for Neville.
