MACON, Ga. — A Macon man was arrested for shooting at another man on Riverside Drive, according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
They say Zavier Ottman, 42, began shooting at another man after an argument around noon, though the other man was not injured. Ottman ran away after the shooting, per the report.
The release says deputies found Ottman around the 100 block of Hill Street. They say he attempted to run, but was caught. He was then taken to a hospital, according to the report.
Ottman tried to escape again after arriving at the hospital, deputies say. He was then taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, per the report.
The sheriff's office says he was wanted in Bibb County on charges of aggravated assault and felony vehicle theft. He is now also charged with aggravated assault and felony escape, per the report. Ottman is being held without bond.
