Woman who supplied Central Georgia drug trafficking organization sentenced, federal prosecutors say

In a search of her Macon storage unit, they found pounds of marijuana hidden in a Louis Vuitton duffle bag, prosecutors say.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — An Atlanta woman who supplied drugs to a Central Georgia drug trafficking organization was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Georgia

Running her drug trafficking enterprise out of a luxury Buckhead apartment, Heather Breland was caught by agents supplying drugs - mainly meth and fentanyl - to Warner Robins drug trafficker Raiford Reeves, the press release said.

They say agents witnessed Breland travel to Macon to supply drugs to Reeves, which is where Breland also had a storage unit on Riverside Drive in Macon where she stored drugs.

Through court-authorized wiretaps, federal agents intercepted Reeves and Breland conducting "controlled purchases of methamphetamine." They say the drug trafficking occurred between October 2021 and June 2022.

After a raid on her home — which found over seven pounds of pure meth, other drugs including fentanyl, guns, cell phones and over $78,353 cash — Breland fled to North Carolina and went on the run, the release said.

They say additional searches were conducted in Warner Robins and at her Macon storage unit, which is where authorities confiscated eight pounds of marijuana in a Louis Vuitton duffle bag.

A few months later, Breland was arrested at a hotel casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. She was found with meth, false ID cards and more.

Reeves, the Warner Robins drug distributor, was previously sentenced to over 17 years in prison.
