MACON, Ga. — A Macon man is in jail without bond after he was found sitting in a stolen Cadillac.
According to a news release, deputies were sent to a hair salon on Thomaston Road to recover a stolen vehicle around 9:45 a.m. last Friday.
When they got to the scene, they found a man sitting in the driver’s seat of a stolen Cadillac CTS. Deputies detained the driver, identified 27-year-old Algernon Jackson.
While searching the car, they found a Ruger pistol reported stolen in 2016 and marijuana.
Jackson was charged with two counts of theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
He is being held without bond.
