MACON, Ga. — Bragg Jam is underway in downtown Macon on Saturday.
But before it kicked off, kids had their own fun during Bragg Fam at the Society Garden.
The event brought out hundreds of families.
"And I think just word of mouth, they just know it's a good cheap way for their kids to have fun and get out. [They can] have a fun musical experience and a good art experience," Bragg Jam Board member Ben Potter said.
Kids got to dance with their favorite characters, like Disney princesses and Spiderman.
Some of the adults got the chance to enjoy a drink before the festivities on Saturday night.
Kids had a blast making their own tambourines, bubble art and painting.
"And just trying to provide some fun entertainment for the kids and allowing the adults to get the kids worn out so they can go out to the music fest later on tonight," Potter said.
The Bragg Jam Concert Crawl is Saturday night beginning at 4:30 p.m.
This year's headliner is Digable Planets.
