GBI: Two brothers got into a fight on a Saturday night. One ended up shot, the other injured.

It happened on Saturday at around 5:15 p.m. The GBI was called in to investigate later that night.

MACON, Ga. — A man was shot in Wheeler County on Saturday during a fight between two brothers, the Georgia Bureau of Investigations said in a press release.

They say it happened Saturday at around 5:15 p.m. in Glenwood, and the GBI was brought into the case an hour later at 6:30 p.m. to investigate.

While the investigation is still early and details can change, the GBI said that they currently believe two brothers — one from Georgia, the other from Florida — got into a fight at a home on Clarks Bluff Road.

One of the brothers was shot and the other was also injured, the GBI said. They both received medical treatment after the fight ended.

At this point, no one has been arrested and the investigation is on-going.

If you have information, you can call the GBI's regional investigative office in Eastman at 478-374-6988. You can submit anonymous tips at 1-800-579-TIPS (8477), the GBI says.
