Man in custody after barricading himself at Canady Plaza, post says

A Facebook post from the Laurens County Sheriff's Office said to avoid the area if at all possible

EAST DUBLIN, Ga. β€” The East Dublin Police Department have taken a man into custody who barricaded himself at Canady Plaza, according to a Facebook post from the Laurens County Sheriff's Office.

Around 1 p.m., the sheriff's office made a post that said that the police are dealing with "a barricaded subject at the Canady Plaza." It adds that the sheriff's office and the sheriff response team are on scene helping the police department.

The sheriff's office eventually put out an update that the "barricaded subject" is in custody.
