High school fight ends with student ramming other student's car — twice, sheriff's office says

It all started with a fight over a cell phone, the sheriff's office said.

CRISP COUNTY, Ga. — A student at Crisp County High School was arrested for allegedly ramming another student's car after a Thursday morning fight, according to a press release from the Crisp County Sheriff's Office.

They say it happened at around 8:00 a.m., and the fight started in the school's parking lot.

The release says that both students — one male, one female — argue the other person stole and damaged their cellphones.

The sheriff's office says it happened after "a brief incident inside" the female's car. Then, the man exited and got into his own car and started pulling into a parking spot.

That's when they say the female rammed his vehicle twice.

The female left the campus and was then arrested, but she later returned to the school's campus for further investigation.

They say the case is under investigation and charges against the female are expected to face charges. She was arrested and detained overnight at a youth detention center, and the sheriff's office is reviewing videos and conducting interviews to find out more about what happened.
