MACON, Ga. — For many, a trip to the dentist office feels like a hassle. However, getting good dental care can be life-changing.
"A lot of times, patients don't understand that oral health benefits your overall health," says Byron Family dentist Albreia Hall. "It's very important that patients understand the purpose of having good oral health."
That's why Byron Family Dental Care will be paying it forward with a day of $15 dental extractions.
"We saw a lot of patients that were in pain," says Hall. "But the hardest part was seeing patients that weren't able to afford that treatment. This is just an opportunity to give back to our patients."
Providing dental health care to Central Georgia is especially important for Hall, a Perry native.
"I decided to come back here and after graduating from dental school in order to really serve the community that actually poured and invested in me," says Hall. "It's a great opportunity for me to come and give back to my community and to the people that I love."
The event will be first-come, first-serve from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 22. Proceeds from the event also go to non-profits like Soles4Souls, Feed the City, and Abba House Perry, Ga.
Byron Family Dental Care is located at 6005 Watson Boulevard in Byron.
