BALDWIN COUNTY, Ga. — A Baldwin State Prison inmate was charged with murder Monday morning after he allegedly killed another inmate on Christmas.
According to a booking sheet from the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, the suspect is 50-year-old Albert Glover.
The Georgia Department of Corrections website shows a lengthy criminal history for Glover, with his most recent conviction being for arson.
He was scheduled to be released in April.
Those charges stem from a fight between Glover and inmate Michael Dawson, who died from his injuries around 9:20 a.m. Christmas Day.
Dawson was sentenced to 20 years in 2001 for a rape and aggravated assault in Polk County. He was also convicted of murder in Chatham County in 2008 and was sentenced to life.
