Armed man robs convenience store in East Macon, per sheriff's office

They say the robbery happened around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

MACON, Ga. — A man robbed a convenience store in East Macon on Thursday, according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office

They say the robbery happened around 1:30 p.m. at the Lucky Food Mart on Jeffersonville Road. 

According to the sheriff's office, the suspect entered the gas station with a gun, and proceeded to threaten the clerk and demand money. The report says he stole money from the store and then left on foot.

He was dressed in all dark clothing, with a black puffer jacket and a black and white skull ski mask. He was wearing blue gloves.

The sheriff's office is now looking for the suspect.
