3 women injured after shooting in Macon's Unionville neighborhood Sunday morning, sheriff's office says

The sheriff's office said the shooting happened around 2 a.m.

MACON, Ga. — Three women were injured in a shooting in Macon’s Unionville neighborhood early Sunday morning, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. in the 200 block of Lilly Avenue near Mercer University Drive.

Two of the victims have since been released from the hospital. All three have non-life-threatening injuries. 

No arrests have been made in the shooting. Investigators are looking into what led up to the shooting.
