Perry Police say a missing person and runaway teens were among those arrested

PERRY, Ga. — Right now, Perry Police are processing six suspects accused of making themselves at home on Hillcrest Avenue after an owner moved out.

Captain Heath Dykes says the people arrested range from 13 to 21-years-old.

He says the owner had moved away a few weeks ago and intended to move everything out of the house later when the suspects broke in and started staying there.

Three face charges as adults, and three will be charged as juveniles.

Perry Police identified the three facing charges as adults as:

  • Jaylan Adams, 21
  • Caitlin Brown, 18
  • Lvauntcz Dyer, 17

Those charges include criminal damage to property, theft by receiving stolen property, and burglary.

The adults also face charges for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Dykes says the six included a mix of runaways, a missing person, and a few wanderers.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information is available.
