Kroger to give teachers free school supplies next week

Teachers can get free school-related supplies next week at the Centreplex in Macon

MACON, Ga. — While we near the end of summer break for students, it's never too soon for teachers to start planning for the new school year.

Central Georgia teachers can get free school-related supplies during an event at the Macon Centreplex’s Monument Room in Macon, according to a flyer from Bibb County Schools.

On Tuesday, July 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., educators with a valid ID, will receive a reusable bag they can fill with school supplies from Kroger.

According to the flyer, the school-related items may include copier paper, tape, dry erase markers, facial tissues, hand sanitizer, and much more.

Target also announced last month that they are bringing back their Teacher Prep Event, offering a 15 percent discount on select classroom supplies from July 13 to 20.
