Macon teen wanted after shooting at another teen during cell phone sale

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office needs help finding a Macon teen who shot at another teen over a cell phone sale on June 10.

According to a release from the sheriff’s office, 18-year-old Aaron Chambliss met up with another teen in the 5400 block of Finsbury Road to sell him an iPhone X he listed on Facebook Marketplace.

After exchanging money, Chambliss handed over an old LG phone instead. He started running away and fired several shots at the teen who chased after him, according to the release.

The release says Chambliss is about 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, and has short hair and a mustache. He is known to frequent the area around Bloomfield Road and Rocky Creek Road.

Chambliss has armed robbery, assault, and probation violation warrants out for his arrest.
