Two men arrested in connection with shooting at store on Eisenhower Parkway

The victim remains in critical condition.

MACON, Ga. — Two people have been arrested and charged with aggravated assault in connection with a shooting on Eisenhower Parkway that happened late Monday night, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. 

The shooting happened at a store located at 1090 Eisenhower Parkway Unit A on April 8. The release says one masked man entered the store while another held the automatic locked door open before running away. The armed man shot a 57-year-old man who remains in critical condition, took cash from the store and ran south on Pine Avenue.

On Tuesday, 46-year-old Travis Arnes Warren was taken into custody for questioning around 3 p.m. They were able to identify 31-year-old Andre Willis III as the armed suspect in the shooting. He was arrested just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday night on Eisenhower Parkway. 

Both Warren and Willis have been charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery with additional charges pending. Currently, they do not have a bond.
