Chick-fil-A brings back 'best-selling seasonal offering' after a short hiatus

The company says the sandwich was so popular that they had to bring it back. A milkshake that hasn't seen the light of day in 13 years will also be back on the menu.

MACON, Ga. — Chick-fil-A announced a fan-favorite seasonal menu item from just one fall ago will be back on the menu starting later this month: the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich.

Starting Aug. 26, the original Honey Pepper Pimento Sandwich will be back on the menu along with a twist — the new Spicy Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich.

The sandwich was brought on as a fall seasonal menu back in 2023 and was a smash hit, the company says. They say it was "the brand's best-selling seasonal offering of all time."

The sandwich features a fried chicken filet — either spicy or regular — with honey, pimento cheese and "mild pickled jalapeños" on a toasted bun.

But the chicken company says that is not all. After 13 years off the menu, a southern staple is hitting the Chick-fil-A menu in milkshake form: the Banana Pudding Milkshake.

They say it is "bringing back a cool twist on the classic dessert." They say the milkshake was introduced back in 2011.

Alongside it, they are adding the Banana Frosted Coffee to the menu if you're looking for a sweet way to start your day.

Chick-fil-A's press release does not say how long the items will be available. However, they do note that this is a limited-time offering.

It replaces the chicken chain's summer item: the Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich. That goes off the menu on Aug. 23.
