WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — As the holiday season approaches, the spirit of giving is in Central Georgia.
Latonia Hale is the founder of Postured for his promise. organization.
They are focused on helping Homeless men, women, and children who have been abused.
This Wednesday, the organization will be hosting a special event where they aim to feed 200 families in need. The event is open to anyone who is struggling this holiday season.
For those wondering how to support this heartfelt cause, they encourage the community to volunteer.
The holiday feast on Wednesday will feature a traditional Thanksgiving meal that’s sure to warm the heart and belly. "We’ll be serving turkeys, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, dressing, yams, pasta salad, and of course, dessert," says Latonia, "And no Thanksgiving meal is complete without sweet tea or a drink."
So, how can you get involved? If you or someone you know is in need of a meal, head over to the Hispanic Four Square Church at 1715 Elberta Road in Warner Robins. The event will be held from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM this Wednesday.
Whether you are looking to give back by volunteering or simply in need of a warm meal, this event is a wonderful opportunity to show support and spread holiday cheer to those in need.
