Margarete-Ann Melvin was nominated by her instructor to receive a full set of tools to pursue a robotics career after graduation.

6. Baldwin County after-school program feeds dinner to students

The supper program started the first week in November. Since then, they've served 9,000 meals to students.

7. 'You came to play!': Macon professor competes on Jeopardy!

Dr. Laura Thomason, an English professor at Middle Georgia State University, competed on Jeopardy! Wednesday night.

8. Macon woman to be inducted into Southern Tennis Hall of Fame

Jaime Kaplan, the tennis coach at Stratford Academy and five-time WTA doubles crown winner, will be inducted later this month.

This week's top teacher is hitting all the right notes at South Dodge Elementary School.
