BOLINGBROKE, Ga. — Another restaurant has closed its doors in Central Georgia after three years.
Marrow 41, located in Bolingbroke on Alexander Court, announced on Facebook that they'll immediately be closing.
A representative from Marrow 41 said in the comments that they are permanently closed.
It's currently unknown why the owners decided to immediately close the restaurant.
The restaurant, based on its website, first opened its doors in April 2021. It added that they looked to give guests "the best southern dishes" with fresh produce, meat, seafood and poultry in all their dishes.
Executive chef Joshua Howard, in their mission statement, noted how they built their menu from Ula and Blanche Farms, which are both in Central Georgia.
He also noted how they wanted to bring live entertainment to their outdoor porch. Performers like Matthew Lang, Sean Solo, McKenzie Reed and several others made frequent appearances at the restaurant.
The menu featured several southern-inspired dishes, like a pulled pork or brisket sandwich, alongside friend catfish or pork ribs. They also offered an eight-ounce filet or a house burger — several commenters under the Facebook post raved about Marrow's burger.
People in the comments noted how much they also enjoyed the restaurant's Sunday brunch.
It is unclear if a new restaurant or something else will take its place.
