Election Results - Nov. 5, 2024

Voters head to the polls in the Nov. 5, 2024, elections to pick the next president of the United States. Former President Donald Trump and current Vice President Kamala Harris top the ballot. There are several key races that people in Georgia will decide. Democratic incumbent Sanford Bishop is looking to keep his seat in the United States House of Representatives. He is facing off against Republican challenger Wayne Johnson. In Central Georgia, several sheriff's races will take center stage, including the Houston County race, where Republican Matt Moulton will take on Democrat Arthur Harris. The winner will replace the nation's longest-serving sheriff, Cullen Talton.
