MACON, Ga. — It's another day where temperatures are running a little bit warm here in central Georgia. Highs in the low 80s with partly cloudy skies are in store for Halloween afternoon, very similar to yesterday.
However, the warmest part of the day will be around 3-4 p.m., which means temperatures will begin to drop from the low 80s as many are heading out for trick-or-treating tonight!
It will still be slightly warm at the beginning of the night around 5-6 p.m. with temperatures in the upper 70s, but the closer we creep towards sunset at 6:44 p.m. these values will begin to feel more pleasant.
By the time you wrap up the night around 8-9 p.m., temperatures will start to creep down into the 60s for even better-feeling weather!
There is a slim chance of a very brief and isolated light rain shower or sprinkle later into the evening. This comes as there is a little more humidity in the forecast that could sprout maybe one or two of these.
There won't be anything to worry about if one does pop up on your side of town, just maybe something to keep the umbrella handy for in the candy basket!
