MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — Sunday, March 26th the National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning & Tornado Warning with a confirmed tornado on the ground in Baldwin County around 7:45 AM. The tornado crossed Milledgeville and continued eastward. The associated storm had a broad hail core with ping pong ball sized hail embedded within it.
As of now there are no reports of injuries, although over 5000 customers were reported without power at the time. Atrium Health in Milledgeville saw minor damages.

Saturday, March 25th the National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning & Tornado Warning with a possible tornado on the ground in Laurens County around 4:15 PM.
The projected area of rotation was moving eastward at 30 mph and was likely near the town of Cadwell. The associated storm had a broad hail core with golf ball sized hail embedded within it.
As of now there are no reports of injuries.
The National Weather Service will likely go out to survey the damage by mid-week to confirm whether or not a tornado made it to the ground.
