According to a news release from Robins AFB, it required more than $51,000 in parts and more than 900 hours of work.

The National Weather Service also sent a special technician down to assist the Robins maintenance team.

As of March 13, the final damaged piece was replaced and the radar is back in operation for both the National Weather Service and news agencies, like 13WMAZ.
