Fog and sprinkles this morning before the front moves through to clear things out

Temperatures will warm up into the mid to upper 70s one last time before cooler air ushers in tonight.

MACON, Ga. — Some cloud cover and a few sprinkles will hang around for the morning hours today, before clearing out after the front passes for another stretch of clear blue skies into the weekend. As we get clearing in the cloud cover early this afternoon, this will allow for one more brief warm-up with highs in the mid to upper 70s this afternoon, before temperatures cool down into the upper 30s and low 40s tonight.

Winds will also be quite gusty after the front passes, with some gusts up to 30 miles per hour at times Wednesday evening into Thursday, and some gusts lingering into Friday.

Temperatures will see their biggest cooldown yet, with highs in the mid to upper 50s and low 60s and lows dipping into the mid to upper 30s. There are no signs of that first freeze of the season just yet, but you'll want to be sure to grab a jacket heading out the door for many days at the end of this week. These temperatures will gradually warm back up as we head into next week.
