MACON, Ga. — Update: 12 P.M.
Skies are beginning to clear for northern counties such as Monroe, Jasper, and Putnam. This comes after a line of thunderstorms and rain moved through most of Central Georgia throughout the morning. The line is showing signs of disorganization as it begins to move out of our eastern counties.
Some afternoon isolated showers are possible in south central Georgia, where the atmosphere is still able to fuel more rain. Otherwise, most of Central Georgia should be mainly dry for the rest of the day.
After the front passes through, a big cool down is ahead for the weekend ahead. Highs are back in the 50s while lows will dip into the 30s and eventually the 20s. As we head into the first week of December next Monday, we look to see our biggest cool-down of the season so far.
