MACON, Ga. — There is a tropical wave in the Carolinas. This time we will be on the west side, or cleaner side, of this storm, and it will be pushing a drier airmass in from the north. Dew points look to drop as low as the upper 50s, which is good timing with temperatures bouncing back into the upper 80s for the second half of the work week.
As we head into the weekend, we're looking at another push of some slightly cooler air while trending dry as of now as well. Very appropriate as we kick off the first day of Fall on Sunday as well!
