The mostly sunny and quiet weather pattern continues

Looking to return to the 90s in some areas for the weekend.

MACON, Ga. — Not much change with the forecast from the past couple of days. Mostly sunny weather continues to be the story each afternoon, with a very slim sprinkle chance each day. For today, we'll return to the upper 80s for highs with less clouds in the picture compared to yesterday.

For the weekend, temperatures are trending back above the 90-degree mark for the first time since Labor Day here in central Georgia. This is a couple degrees above average for this time of year, but really not feeling too much different from the upper 80s we've had the past few days.

A slight cool down looks to be in store towards the midweek next week. Hopefully we can drop highs back down around average, but if you want to hold on to the little taste of fall we've had recently, the mornings will be the best time to do so with temperatures in the mid-60s around sunrise each day.
