ATLANTA — Three 19-year-old basketball stars were drafted by the Atlanta Dream Monday night.
In the first round, the Atlanta Dream selected Nyadiew Puoch, of Australia with its No. 12 pick. The 19-year-old got emotional as she talked about her mother on draft night.
With the No. 20 draft pick, Atlanta selected another player from Australia, Isobel Borlase.
And lastly, the Dream came away with the No. 32 draft pick as well. The team selected Matilde Villa, of Italy.
All three players were welcomed by the team on social media.
