ATLANTA — The 2024 NFL Draft is here, and the Atlanta Falcons have been making their draft selections.
Let's take a look at who the Falcons have selected so far.
First Round
The Falcons' first pick prompted some controversy, going against the conventional wisdom from many analysts and fans heading into the draft.
They selected University of Washington Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. as the eighth pick of the NFL Draft.
Height: 6'2
Weight: 216 pounds
In his senior season, he threw for nearly 5,000 yards and 36 touchdowns, boasting a 65.4% completion rate. It led Penix to be named a Heisman Trophy finalist after leading Washington to the 2024 National Championship.
Penix is originally from Tampa, Florida.
Second Round
In the second round, the Falcons selected Clemson defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhoro. Selected as the 35th pick overall, Orhorhoro is originally from Lagos, Nigeria.

Weight: 294 pounds
According to his page with the Clemson Tigers, he was credited with 97 tackles, 12 sacks, nine pass breakups and two fumble recoveries in 1,526 career snaps.
Third Round
The Falcons selected another University of Washington Husky, edge rusher Bralen Trice, with the 74th pick of the draft.
Height: 6' 3 1/2"
Weight: 245 pounds
Trice boasts 30 solo tackles and 11.5 tackles for loss. He is originally from Phoenix Arizona.
Fourth Round
The Falcons selected Oregon defensive tackle Brandon Dorlus with the 109th overall pick.
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 283 pounds
Fifth Round
The Falcons selected Notre Dame linebacker JD Bertrand with the 143rd overall pick.
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 230 pounds
Sixth Round
The Falcons selected Alabama running back Jase McClellan with the 186th overall pick.

Weight: 221 pounds
Sixth Round
The Falcons selected Illinois wide receiver Casey Washington with the 187th overall pick
