ATLANTA — Despite the gloomy weathering putting a damper on the day, the Atlanta Braves brightened the days of its fans during its annual media day at Truist Park.
From some intriguing giveaways fans won't want to miss, to flashy new spaces inside Truist Park, to the plethora of delicious new food options that will melt in your mouth, there was no shortage of excitement as the budding baseball season begins.
Here's what's new at Truist Park for fans in 2024:
Renovated and redesigned Braves Clubhouse Store
If you've ever been to Truist Park, you know that the line to the clubhouse store can sometimes back up to the point that it may seem unworthy of waiting.
But there's good news in 2024. The Braves are hoping to alleviate those long lines and crowded spaces inside the team store by adding an additional 1,500 square feet and redesigning the layout of the store.
Braves fans will also now be able to access jerseys all in one place. The new area was described by team officials as a jersey "bar," where fans can walk up and try on whichever jersey they want while not being in the way of any of the other foot traffic inside the store.
If you remember, the past Braves Clubhouse Store was layered in three levels. The new space is all on the same floor and is easier for fans to walk around and access everything they need. The new space will have its grand reopening on April 2. You can see a noticeable difference in how much more open the new store is.
