Professional basketball player Marcos Knight is back in Central Georgia for his annual basketball skills "One hoop, One Dream" camp teaching young players the basic fundamentals of the hardwood.
Knight graduated from West Laurens in 2008 before having success at Middle Georgia State winning a conference championship under the direction of head coach Scottie Moe. Knight has been playing professionally in Germany, Turkey and Spain for the past 6 years, he wants his campers to know there is more to life than the NBA.
"Its a great opportunity you get to see the world. There's a different brand of basketball in each country. I play against all of NBA guys. A lot of guys play here in Europe after they play in the NBA," Knight said. "It's been a great experience for me so I just wanna come back and give the kids something positive and something to look forward to every day."
