ATHENS, Ga. — Another Central Georgia native and Warner Robins Demon has joined Georgia football's 2025 class.
Warner Robins athlete Rasean Dinkins announced on Monday his commitment to the University of Georgia. Dinkins flipped his commitment from Georgia Tech to the Bulldogs, where he had been committed since June 2.
Dinkins isn't the first player from Warner Robins to commit to the Bulldogs' 2025 class. He joins his teammate and fellow defensive player, Isaiah Gibson, in the class. He also joins five-star linebacker Zayden Walker, who plays outside Macon County in Schley County.
The four-star is ranked as the 219th best player and the 32nd best player in Georgia, according to 247Sports. He's listed as a safety but can play cornerback, which he's done with the Demons.
Dinkins brings tremendous athleticism to the Bulldogs. He has a 40-inch vertical and a 4.5-second 40-yard dash.
As Warner Robins fans know, Dinkins plays on both sides of the ball for the Demons. He's made plenty of plays on the defensive side of the ball, whether that's a key tackle or even an interception — he had eight as a sophomore in 2022 — but has been one of Warner Robins' top receivers this season.
His speed shows up on tape, as he can fly down the field on either side of the ball. He's also plenty capable of overcoming his nearly 5-foot-11 frame against bigger opponents. His leaping ability allows him to get over the top of opposing players, and his physicality and explosive playing style allows him to take down equally as physical players like Lee County running back and fellow Georgia commit Ousmane Kromah.
Dinkins was the latest player to join the class, committing a few weeks after five-star and Savannah Christian Prep standout Elijah Griffin and linebacker Anthony Kruah. His commitment also comes two days after defensive back Shamari Earls flipped his commitment from Georgia to Michigan.
Dinkins is the 24th player in the 2025 class and the 11th defensive player to join the class.
Both Dinkins and Gibson will one day wear red and black together in college, but for now, the pair will be key in Warner Robins' upcoming playoff run for a shot at a state title.
