MACON, Ga. — Many fall sports in Central Georgia are in the heat of the postseason, which means Central Georgia teams are in the biggest stretch of their seasons yet. 

Both the flag football and the softball seasons are nearing their end, and many Central Georgia schools are hitting their playoff stride. Here's some highlights from this week's action.

Softball

Toombs County 14 - ACE 0

  • ACE will next face Haralson County in the tournament's consolation bracket.

Screven County 1 - Georgia Military College 0

  • GMC will next face Metter in the tournament's consolation bracket.

Bremen 7 - East Laurens 3

  • East Laurens will next face Social Circle in the tournament's consolation bracket.

Lassiter 11 - Houston County 0

  • Houston County will next face Seckinger in the city's consolation bracket.

West Laurens 5 - LaGrange 2

  • West Laurens is advancing to the next round, though their opponent has not yet been determined.

Flag football

Pike County 12 - Northeast 0

Westside 12 - Veterans 6
