MACON, Ga. — The 10th week of Football Friday Night is here, and we’ve got a slate of Central Georgia teams set to go head-to-head. Here are some of the games we’re keeping an eye on.

ACE vs Southwest

Both teams will be playing for their season when ACE and Southwest meet at Perkins Field on Friday.

They'll be playing for fourth place in Region AA Division 1, and with three games left on the schedule, neither team can afford to give up any ground in the race to the postseason.

Southwest started the season with a three-game losing streak, but has won two of the last three matchups. Meanwhile, ACE has been on a downward trend recently, but is coming off of a tightly-contested 27-21 win over East Laurens.

Tattnall Square Academy vs John Milledge Academy

The Tattnall Trojans have been on a tear recently, winning their last six matchups and looking dominant in the process.

On the other side, John Milledge has had a tough road this season, and has dropped their last six contests. They need momentum in a major way, especially if they're going to stand up against this Tattnall team.

The Trojans have their sights set on a massive region battle against FPD next week, but they need to make sure they don't slip up against JMA before they get there.

Houston County vs Coffee County

The Houston County Bears are another 6-1 team about to be put to the test when they face off against the Coffee County Trojans on Friday.

The Bears are heading to Coffee County for this matchup, and it'll be difficult to overcome the 6-1 Trojans on their home turf.

Houston County will need to rely on their offense to win this one, helmed by senior quarterback Antwann Hill Jr. Hill leads the state in passing yards, and his two favorite targets - Isaiah Mitchell and M.J. Mathis - have combined for twenty receiving touchdowns this season.

If the Bears can pull out a win on the road, they'll have momentum on their side next week when they take on the defending state champions, Thomas County Central.
