MACON, Ga. — High school football has returned to Georgia, which means awe-inspiring highlights are back with it. From gravity-defying catches to electrifying interceptions, high school football will have it all.
Here are all of the top plays from the GHSA and GIAA football season.
Week 3
Week 3 of high school football in Central Georgia also meant the arrival of college football.
Mercer took the field against Presbyterian, and Fort Valley State faced off against Clark Atlanta University.
The high schools didn't let college steal all of their shine, though. Warner Robins came up with a big win over Northside, Dublin dropped 56 points against Southwest and Stratford soared to a victory over Pinewood.

Week 2
Week 2 of high school football in Central Georgia came and went, featuring several rivalry matchups that had fans on the edge of their seats.
Perry took down Peach County, Mary Persons came away with bragging rights over Jackson and Dodge County escaped victorious in the border war against Bleckley County.

Preseason
Week 1 of the regular season kicks off this week, but teams finished off their final round of preseason scrimmages this past weekend.
Stratford took on GMC, Jones County headed up to Mary Persons, Veterans faced Howard and Northeast met Greene County.
The preseason is a time for learning, growing and developing a rhythm with your teammates. That rhythm was on full display this past week, as Central Georgia players wasted no time putting the rest of the region on notice.
