ATLANTA — Fans will have a chance to get up close and personal with the National Championship trophy after the Bulldogs recent victory.
The trophy tour kicks off at noon Wednesday at the Walmart on Lexington Road in Athens before heading to the Kroger on Alps Road.
Hours after the big win, the Bulldogs announced their plan for Saturday's Championship Celebration.
It will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a parade along Lumpkin Street on the UGA campus. A Dawg Walk will follow that at 1 p.m. and an official program will take place inside Sanford Stadium at 2 p.m.(gates will open at 12 p.m.).
Tickets to the program are free and will be available first to season ticket holders, faculty and staff starting Tuesday morning. Any remaining tickets will be made available to the general public at 9 a.m. on Thursday at georgiadogs.com.
