ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia's season is on the line on Saturday.
On Nov. 16, the No. 12 Bulldogs will face off against the No. 7 Tennessee Volunteers for a potential playoff spot. While Tennessee could still make the playoffs with another loss, Georgia would certainly fall out of the postseason hunt with a third loss on the season.
The Bulldogs are coming off of a 28-10 loss to Ole Miss, and a second-straight loss would likely ruin their chances at contending for a third national championship in four years.
In a game with as much significance as this one, every player is valuable. On Wednesday night, the SEC released the full injury availability report for both teams.
For Georgia, the team will still be without running backs Roderick Robinson II and Branson Robinson. Branson Robinson, however, could return in the next few weeks, as he recently started practicing again.
Fellow running backs Trevor Etienne and Cash Jones are also questionable. Etienne is still dealing with an injury he suffered against Florida, while Jones was recently reported to be in a boot.
Micah Morris, who was also hurt against Florida two weeks ago, is questionable to suit up. Morris, alongside offensive linemen like Tate Ratledge, Jared Wilson and Earnest Greene III, have been battling injuries as the offensive line continues to struggle to remain healthy.
Finally, return man Anthony Evans III is questionable to return. If he is back, it should solidify the punt returner position for the Bulldogs.
Tennessee will be missing several defensive players, including Jourdan Thomas, Keenan Pili, Edwin Spillman, and will be without running back DeSean Bishop.
The biggest name on the injury list is the Volunteers' starting quarterback: Nico Iamaleava. At the start of this week, it was announced that he entered concussion protocol and that his status for the game was up in the air.
While it's unclear if he'll suit up, if Iamaleava isn't good enough to play on Saturday, backup Gaston Moore will likely see the field. If not Moore, Georgia native Jake Merklinger will make his first career start back in his home state.
Alongside Iamaleava, wide receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr. and offensive lineman Vysen Lang are also questionable. For a full list of injuries from both teams, take a look below.
