Earlier this month, owner Ken Vicinus said he would walk away from his mortgage in May. He says the course is losing money to the tune of $4000 a month and he can't afford it. He also said he would sell the course and country club to the neighborhood if they came up with enough money to buy it. p >Vicinus says he owes CBamp;T in Warner Robins $1.8 million. Mickey Belote with the neighborhood group called the Barrington Hall Revitalization Committee, says they have pledges that add up only to about $180,000, not enough to buy the course.

We spoke with another committee member, Jim Hofstetler, Thursday afternoon. He says the neighborhood group needs to keep some of that $180,000 to spruce up the course for the members who have agreed to pay dues. Hofstetler says they will clean up the pool, buy patio furniture for Fox Run Country Club and make minor repairs on the course. />
