The Macon Bacon played their last game before the All-Star break festivities begin and had no problem at all against the Savannah Bananas.
The Bacon shutout the Bananas 6-0 at "The Skillet" where it was Military Appreciation night. The Bacon sported special Army jerseys and recognized several military veterans to honor all those who have served.
Macon scored their first run of the game in the 1st inning, and then scored three more runs in the 2nd inning thanks to an RBI single from Cory Bivins and 2RBI double from Daniel Harris.
The Bacon took a 4-0 lead after the 2nd and never looked back as they blanked the Bananas 6-0.
The All-Star events start Sunday, July 7th and will end on July 8th in Savannah.
