If you fly out of Macon's Middle Georgia Regional Airport, you can add a new city to your itinerary.
Contour Airlines made its first trip to Tampa International Airport on Wednesday, taking off around 3:30 p.m.
The plane had about 10 to 15 passengers on it.
Contour already makes trips to Baltimore-Washington.
Airport Manager Erick D'Leon says costs here are much cheaper than larger airports, and Florida is a target market.
Everyone on board the flight to Tampa got some goodies before boarding the plane.
They received complimentary sunglasses, chap stick and a lanyard.
Mattison Graham boarded this flight to spend Christmas with her dad.
She says this is her first time on a plane alone, but flying with Contour made her trip easier.
"It's more convenient to fly out of here. It's a faster way to get to Tampa for me. Hartsfield is just very busy," Graham said.
The trip lasts a little over an hour, and you can expect to pay anywhere from $150 to $200.
D'Leon says they are always looking to add new markets to serve the community.
The first flight from Tampa to Macon will land around 6:30 p.m.
