At only 23 years old, Jordan Harbin owns a tech repair shop in downtown Forsyth.
Harbin usually spends his time fixing phones and computers, but when he has spare time, he works on special projects.
In the past, he's been able to hook up Amazon device Alexa to a toy sea bass, making the sea bass answer in Alexa's voice when you ask questions.
Harbin says he takes inspiration from ideas online and tries to make them his own.
"That's just what I enjoy doing. Making my own stuff, and if it doesn't exist, well I'm going to figure out a way to make it," Harbin said.
The Alexa-Sea Bass contraption was all over the internet, so Harbin decided to make his own version.
Harbin has also made a Super Mario World character from the popular Nintendo game completely by hand, using a mix of recycled wires and inexpensive computer parts.
"I just enjoy making small projects that make people laugh, and they're just kind of fun to do," Harbin said. "I got to get away from just fixing phones every now and then. I have to do little projects that are fun."
He is always looking to create new gadgets.
"If someone gives me an idea, it's kind of dangerous sometimes, because I may actually just go ahead and do it, because why not," Harbin said.
He even likes to get festive for the holidays, by taking a basic circuit board and turning it into twinkling ornament.
"You can plug it in, and put it on your desk, or put it on your tree and have it light up," Harbin said.
After each creation, he places a 'Designed by Harbin Repairs in Forsyth, Georgia' on them.
"You see this stuff done in other countries, and I think it's really cool to do that here," Harbin said.
Once a project is complete, it's back to the drawing board to begin the next one.
You can find Harbin Repairs in downtown Forsyth on North Lee Street.
Harbin also has a YouTube account with tutorials, so you can learn how to make gadgets, just like him.
