Arrest made in Gwinnett County murder

A suspect has been arrested in a fatal shooting at a Gwinnett County apartment complex.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – A suspect has been arrested in a fatal shooting at a Gwinnett County apartment complex.

Quindarius Keshun Morton turned himself in to the Gwinnett County Detention Center Saturday afternoon. Morton, who goes by Q, was charged with felony murder and aggravated assault in the death of 22-year-old Reginald Bien-Aime.

According to Gwinnett County Police Sgt. Brian Doan, the shooting happened Thursday at the Reserve at Ivy Creek apartments on Appaloosa Lane, not far from the Mall of Georgia.

Doan said the person who called 911 reported hearing between four and six gunshots. When officers arrived, they found Bien-Aime dead behind the wheel of a passenger car.

Police have not yet released a motive in the shooting.
