ATLANTA — After months of campaigning, the race for the Georgia Senate seat is still up for grabs as incumbent Raphael Warnock and challenger Herschel Walker are headed for a runoff.
The runoff will be held on Dec. 6 with Warnock and Walker squaring off again if necessary.
As of 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Warnock currently sits at 1,941,275 votes or 49.41% of the vote. Walker finished with 1,906,192 votes or 48.52% of the vote. Libertarian Chase Oliver is currently at 81,173 votes or 2.07% of the vote.
The runoff will be a key race in the battle for control of the Senate.
