VP Kamala Harris visits popular Atlanta restaurant on campaign stop

​While at Pacshal's, Harris paused to shake hands of fellow politicians and supporters while also snapping a few selfies along the way.

ATLANTA — In her first stop in Atlanta since being endorsed by President Joe Biden as the next Democratic nominee for president, Vice President Kamala Harris paid a visit to a historic Black-owned restaurant.

Harris visited the renowned Paschal's Restaurant off Northside Drive in Atlanta. Known for its tasteful soul food. The VP made a stop there before heading to a campaign rally in Atlanta on Tuesday night.

11Alive was there at the restaurant when Harris arrived. She was greeted outside the eatery by Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, Rep. Nikema Williams and U.S. Sens. Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.

On Tuesday night, after making a stop at Paschal's, Harris addressed the crowd at Georgia State University as she campaigned for president.

Harris has made several stops in the state in the past few months, with Tuesday's visit being her sixth one this year. However, this was Harris' first stop as she campaigns for president.
