Georgia Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger and officials from his office will provide a final Election Day preview on Monday morning at the state Capitol.
The final pre-Election Day overview will come after a weekend which saw a political flashpoint already in Georgia over the decision by some counties to open election offices and accept hand-returned absentee ballots after Friday's end of the early voting period.

Republican state officials, including Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger and the chief operating officer in the Secretary of State's Office, Gabriel Sterling, also said the practice was lawful. The state GOP, along with the National Republican Committee, nonetheless filed lawsuits, one of which was rejected on Saturday in a Fulton County court.
The Associated Press also reported it has long been the practice for Georgia election offices to accept mail ballots over the counter.
Meanwhile, early voting ended Friday with more than 4 million ballots cast, a record turnout for the period.
More than 55% of Georgia's 7.2 million active voters have cast a ballot. An Election Day turnout of another roughly million votes would see the Peach State surpass the 2020 election overall turnout.
“This was the most successful Early Voting period in Georgia history because voters trust the process,” Sec. Raffensperger said in a st atement in a release on Saturday. “Four years of progress brought us here. We’re battle-tested and ready, regardless of what the critics say. And we’re going to hold those who interfere in our elections accountable.”
