The busy day in metro Atlanta for the former president comes as the campaign trail continues to heat up in Georgia -- Vice President Kamala Harris is also expected back in Atlanta this week, and former President Bill Clinton was also in the Peach State the past couple days. Trump, Harris and their running mates have been to Georgia multiple times in the last few weeks.

Here's an overview of Trump's campaign stop on Tuesday:

Donald Trump in Forsyth, Cobb today | What to know

  • Forsyth County: The former president is, according to a Fox News release, filming a town hall centered on women voters and women's issues with Harris Faulkner. The time for that event has not been disclosed. It will be held at the Reid Barn in Cumming, and the taped event will be broadcast on "The Faulkner Focus" tomorrow, Wednesday Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. It will also re-air on Oct. 16 on the program at 11 a.m.
  • Cobb County: Former President Trump will deliver remarks at 7:30 p.m. at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Ticket registration is here and doors open at 4:30 p.m. for the event.

Road closures

Timing is not known, however the Reid Barn in Cumming is up GA-400/Hwy. 19, so you can expect impacts along that route whenever the former president makes his way to Forsyth County. Impacts can be expected on Atlanta Hwy./GA-9 as well, and around the venue on Majors Rd. and Castleberry Rd.

It's unclear if Trump would travel straight to Cobb County from Forsyth, but that would likely involve going back down GA-400/Hwy. 19, then across I-285 West to the Cobb Galleria complex. If you're trying to anticipate impacts for those roadways, keep in mind the former president's Cobb remarks are due at 7:30 p.m.
