DUBLIN, Ga. — 13WMAZ headed out to the Emerald City for the final Listening Lab at the Dublin Civitan Club fair.
A lot of folks shared issues important to them. Some of those issues include mental health, inflation, and Second Amendment rights.
Folks poured in looking to enjoy the fun rides and good food, while others like Ferne Hupp came specifically to make sure her voice gets heard.
"The Second Amendment rights gives me the chance for protection for my family, my home, my property," Hupp said.
Cameron Robinson hopes to one day buy a home, but, "With everything going on, it's like the tax price increasing. The land tax is high, really everything going up -- the housing market, all that."
Vincent Whirl Sr. and Darrick Vickers would like to see more guidance for our youth.
"Pointing them in the right direction. I think a lot of times our teens get themselves in situations that they can't get out of because they don't know how to get out of them," Whirl Sr. said.
"Interacting with our young youth, especially with the gang problems that's going on and all over," Vickers said.
Mental health another topic of concern for Judy Waters.
"I have mental issues myself, and I have to pay out of pocket, and it's very expensive to do that," Waters said.
Some, like Brian Adams, want fairness within our government system and folks to come together as Americans.
"I'm very much a voter. I spent 28 years in the military, so I defended a person's right to do this, whether I agree with them or not," Adams said.
