Milledgeville police still looking for shooting witnesses

Witnesses said they were just walking to their cars at closing time when shots were fired.

Millledgeville police are still looking for witnesses to Sunday's fatal shooting outside a nightclub.

One man, Diquan Key, age 21, died around 3 a.m. Sunday.

Three others were wounded.

It happened around 2 a.m. outside the Soul Masters Diner on North Glynn Street.

Detective Anthony Henderson says they're still trying to round up witnesses who can explain what happened and why.

He said witnesses said they were just walking to their cars at closing time when shots were fired.

Henderson said Quintin Dixon remains in stable condition at Medical Center-Navicent Health.

Two other men, Kelvin Byron and Justice Grace, were treated and released for minor injuries.

Henderson said some witnesses to the shooting have cooperated but others have not.

Nobody answered the phone at Soul Master's on Monday.The club's Facebook page says Soul Master's offered free drinks until 11:30 p.m. Saturday for a $5 admission.
