MACON, Ga. — Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Macon man on Monday for robbing the same Family Dollar two days in a row.

According to a release from the sheriff's office, 33-year-old Quinvarius Wood broke into the Family Dollar located at 2123 Pio Nono Avenue twice.

Deputies identified Wood from a surveillance video of a burglary that happened early Sunday morning.

Deputies confirmed Wood broke into the same store the previous night, according to the release. Both times Wood left with "large amounts" of laundry detergent in a shopping cart.

The release says Wood tried to run away after deputies found him outside a Pawn Max down the street from the store he robbed.

Wood was taken to Bibb County Jail and charged with commercial burglary and obstruction of Peace Officer. He is also facing a shoplifting charge for an unrelated case.

He is being held on a $3,150 bond.

Anyone with more information about the case can call the sheriff’s office at 478-751-7500.
